The event is a part of the Marie Curie Framework 6 Research Training Network MODNET, funded by the European Commission.

It is intended for Modnet senior researchers, postdoc fellows and PhD students, but we welcome participation by researchers interested in the lively connections between Model Theory and Algebra.

 MODNET Summer School 2007

June 18-22, 2007, University of Camerino, Camerino, Italy

This event will consist of three short courses, with 5 lectures, supported by tutorials in the evenings.

It is the fifth training event of the Marie Curie Framework 6 Research Training Network MODNET, funded by the European Commission.

It is intended for PhD students, but we welcome participation by others, e.g. MSc students, or by other researchers.

A Special Session on Model Theory and Applications will be held in Perugia, June 21-22, 2007, during the Joint International Meeting UMI-DMV.

The session is organized by Andreas Baudisch (HU Berlin) and Carlo Toffalori (Camerino).

Speakers include K. Tent (Bielefeld), M. Hils (HU Berlin), M. Ziegler (Freiburg), P. Rothmaler (CUNY), A. Berarducci (Pisa), P. D'Aquino (Napoli 2), A. Fornasiero (Pisa), T. Servi (Regensburg/Pisa), S. L'Innocente (Camerino), G. Terzo (Napoli 2/Lisboa).

A bus will start from Camerino (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science) to Perugia (Department of Mathematics) on Thursday, June 21, at 13.30 sharp.

Please note that we cannot take care of accommodations in Perugia. The Perugia conference website provides some information and proposals about that.
